We organize together with Cascina Santa Brera Cultural Association guided tours and courses to introduce our visitors to organic farming, the natural environment, country life, farm works and Permaculture (a system of cultivation that relies on renewable resources and a self-sustaining ecosystem). Cascina Santa Brera hosts the Scuola di Pratiche Sostenibili, School of Sustainable Practices, inside Parco Agricolo Sud Milano (Milan’s Southern Agricultural Park) and since 2006 has been organizing a Course in Sustainable Agriculture and Permaculture Design.
We offer a wide range of short-term courses and workshops such as: soap making, how to build a straw bale house, organic horticulture, recognizing and cooking edible wild plants, Green building and much more.
