Thanks to the restoration works done using original materials, the rooms situated in the farmers’ house are now livable and have modern facilities. Environmentally friendly paint and wood stain were used throughout the interior, for all furniture and wrought iron items, including the old wooden ceilings. The internal and external doors have been revived and sanded down before being regenerated with specific oils. After being cleaned and waterproofed with specific treatment, the old floors made of “cotto Lom-bardo” tiles have revealed all their beauty and preserved their antique charm. The roof has been renovated using original handmade roof tiles wherever possible.
